Tornado Watch

Nashville is currently under a tornado watch (we get them from time to time). According to the National Weather Service we should expect "potent areas of storminess"... undoubtably my favourite meteorological phrase!

The University I work at has sent us a helpful email about what we should do in case of a tornado, including the wonderful advice to "assume a fetal position and cover your head" if outside during a tornado... wise advice indeed!

The University has a number of colour warnings, such as "Orange Alert" for tornadoes. My favourite alert is the "Brown Alert", suitable called to denote an "Internal Disaster"...
